We at TecBanc collect, store and distribute your personal information (including your full name, address and contact details, and personal financial and other information) on behalf of yourself and TecBanc Licensees and other parties who are authorised to access your data for business purposes including but not limited to assessing current or future loan applications, and any future applications for products or services that you may make to the TecBanc group of companies and/or Licensees. We also use your personal information to carry out marketing activities, research and product development. We share your personal information between these organisations for the purpose of managing your information and for their assessment and management of your loans and investments. We may disclose your information to organisations to whom we outsource functions such as mailing and printing houses, to IT providers and to specialist advisers such as accountants and solicitors (both yours and ours). Other disclosures usually include account holders and operators, mortgage insurers, credit reporting agencies, general insurers, conveyancers, valuers, debt collection agencies and government authorities. In all instances where licensees, contractors and agents may become aware of personal information, confidentiality arrangements apply. Personal information may only be used by licensees, contractors and agents for specified purposes. We may also disclose personal information to financial institutions and organisations at their request if you seek credit from them, and to accountants, financial planners, solicitors should you appoint them to act on your behalf, or should a TecBanc Licensee authorise the release of your personal information. We may be allowed or obliged to disclose information by law, eg. Under Court Orders or Statutory Notices pursuant to taxation or social security laws. We will send information overseas if we outsource functions using overseas Licensees, agents or contractors, and where authorised by TecBanc or its Licensees, your personal information may be accessed by overseas Licensees. It is TecBanc policy that personal information including names, addresses and contact details will not be sold to general purpose mailing lists, and will be accessed only by authorised parties for specific purposes. Marketing undertaken by TecBanc Licensees will be restricted should you request such restrictions to apply. In most cases you can gain access to your personal information, and to obtain information about who is accessing your personal information.
